Community

The military is a community of sorts due to the diversity of people in the community.  Reason that is they are a lot like a small town in a rural area.  The only big difference is that small town might have half the population might actually be all locals.  Where as in the military you have people from all over working together towards a common goal be it launching airplanes off a flight deck of a carrier, to a foot soldier doing a patrol through hostile territory.  Just about anywhere you look there is a community be it school, home, work, or the military.  They all can be classified as a community.  All of them also have people from different walks of life.
